Probably set in the 50’s Hill Sweet Blues uses the spectrum of colour that Craig has developed himself. A classic scene, we wonder if the lad in the cart will tackle the downhill and then trek back to the top to give his pal a turn.

Hilltop Shop reminds some of us, of a certain age, of days gone by. Few if any of these corner shops now exist. An integral part of any community during the 40’s, 50′ and 60’s the shop owner would know all of his customers well and probably refer to them by their surname “Hello Mrs Broadbent, how are you today and Mr Broadbent?”.
This was a time when people showed each other respect and the kids that played on the streets, whilst rough and ready, revered their elders.
